All services provided by Pauline Wong are subject to the following Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is a statement of principles and guidelines concerning the protection of personal information of my clients.
This policy covers how I, Pauline Wong (Designer), treats personal information that I collect and receive from clients in exchange for services offered by Pauline Wong. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable such as your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. Other information, such as the client's choice of services, payment information, and logs, is collected and maintained in the normal course of providing services, and are also subject to the Privacy Policy.
Information Collection & Use
Prior to the commencement of each project, I ask for information such as your name, email address, address, telephone, and company title. The Pauline Wong website automatically receives and records information on the server logs from your browser, including your IP address and cookie information. The information collected is used for the following general purposes:
- To build a client portfolio. As a client, your information is used to fulfill and deliver the requested product and/or service.
- To process payment. Your credit card number is used only for processing payments. Your credit card information is not saved on the servers and will not be used for marketing purposes.
Information Sharing & Disclosure
I do not rent, sell, or share personal information about clients with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services requested by the client, and only when I has client consent.
In the event that I disclose client's personal information, it will be for the following reasons:
- As a response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise my legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- In order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, and situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or as otherwise authorized by law.
- Transfer of information about you if Pauline Wong merges with another company. In this event, I will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Use of Cookies
This website may employ cookies to hold information related to your web session. Any time cookies are used, any personal information about site visitors are not collected.
Confidentiality & Security
I will protect the confidentiality of client information, account information and personal communications to the fullest extent possible and consistent with the law. I will not disclose any client information to third parties nor will use this information for purposes other than to maintain the client's account, send updates on service changes, and/or for reasons listed above.
Notification of Changes
I reserve the right to change or update this policy at any time without prior notice. I will notify clients about significant changes in the way I treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in the client's account portfolio or by placing a prominent notice on the site 30 days prior to the effective date.
